Is there a place to practice our act in the days leading up to the competition? Aerial acts will have a five-inch thick crash pad underneath unless you choose to opt out of it by signing a release form. There is an orchestra extension (above the orchestra pit) at the front of the stage that is approximately 14РІР‚Р† at its deepest point and 52РІР‚Р† at its widest point. The main stage is roughly 20РІР‚Р† deep x 40РІР‚Р† wideР’В withР’В a woodР’В floor. No orbiting or front to back swinging motions will be possible. Acts will only be able to go straight up and down or swing from left to right due to the ceiling configuration at the venue. If youР’В would like to use the pulley to go up and down for an act, you must bring someone who knows your cuesР’В to pull youР’В up and down. We may have a 2:1 pulley riggedР’В depending onР’В rigging logistics. We will have a 1:1 pulley to change gear for each act. We will not have a motor available due to power supply limitations. If you have something youРІР‚в„ўd like rigged, please contact us so we can get details and make sure it will work with the rigging space we have.

Contestants mayР’В bring in their own equipment to be rigged if needed or if it is an apparatus we cannot provide. What are the guidelines for my submission video?Р”Р„s part of the application process, we require a two-minute unedited video of you performing a routine to assess technical skill level and artistry. Open to any and all circus talent ages 8 through adult. What is the time limit/duration for acts?Р”Р„cts must be no longer than 4 minutes in duration. (Unfortunately, we are not able to accommodate fire or animal acts.) Solo and group aerial and ground circus acts welcome.
